What I saw at the zoo...
Yesterday was a zoo day for me, and I walked down (and up) the hill thinking about all the work I had to do this weekend. I still haven't done any of the work I brought home, because while at the zoo our gorilla mama gave birth, and I got to see it! Needless to say I was ridiculously excited about it, and as I was the one who saw the most, I promised to write up what I saw. That's a great story! And Kevin LOVED the videos - he said monkey!
There is now a story on Wash. Post online about the birth. It says a volunteer interpreter knew what was going on and alerted visitors.
I'm an unnamed volunteer in the Washington Post - huzzah! One life goal, checked off the list...
